The Senior Manager, Membership Database Operations is responsible for the maintenance, expansion, and oversight of the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy’s membership operations. Initial responsibilities will include leading ASGCT’s transition to iMIS Cloud/EMS and improving upon existing processes as part of the database migration.

Job Summary 

  • Responsible for the input and output of iMIS data and performance
  • Manage relationships with third-party consultants, vendors (Informz, A2Z Events, Kentico, Webscribble, Swapcard), and ASI
  • Troubleshoot and identify solutions to solve issues and improve processes within the ASGCT environment
  • Control credentialed access to iMIS and the read-only staff site
  • Manage support tickets and projects through appropriate vendor ticket channels
  • Create and maintain IQAs and business objects for reports and email lists
  • Maintain RiSE pages to provide exceptional user experience integrated in ASGCT.org
  • Document changes to the database, user instructions, and internal processes. Train appropriate staff on iMIS functions
  • Update automated confirmations for receipts, registrations, and confirmations as needed
  • Maintain staff reports and dashboards
  • Prepare, manage, and test new iMIS features and third-party integration features
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create and implement annual membership plan
  • Oversee membership dues invoicing processes
  • Prepare regular updates on membership and departmental activities for leadership teams, including the Board of Directors
  • Support ASGCT’s financial vendors in collection of membership dues and registration fees

Education/Experience Required

  • 3+ years experience leading iMIS operations in a cloud-friendly/EMS/browser-based environment including configuring dashboards, updating member and staff site content, creating panels, content pages, and process automations. Experience with iMIS Fastforms, iMIS Report Writer and iMIS Data Management suite is a plus
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience supporting and enhancing relational databases, including iMIS RiSE and iMIS Desktop experience. May be concurrent with leadership experience
  • Understanding access/security protocols – PCI compliance, user permissions, page/content access settings, content authority.
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and think logically/iteratively to problem solve effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff directly
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Up to (2) weeks of travel per year
