Advocacy & Strategic Alliances

Support ASGCT by sponsoring the Society's annual Policy Summit featuring expert presentations on legislative, regulatory, and ethical issues to advance the development of safe, efficient, and accessible gene therapies.

Patient Education

ASGCT’s patient-centered education website is designed to inform patients, families, and the general public on the status and promise of gene and cell therapies. Support scientific and reliable information by sponsoring our educational resources, videos, and infographics.

Watch our video about how these resources are developed, and learn about support opportunities.

ASGCT's Insight Series

Topics for this new series of webinars are each developed collaboratively by two ASGCT committees, resulting in new dynamic conversations. Reach these unique audiences with two sponsorship levels.

Awards and Grants

Help support ASGCT member research through these funded awards

The Career Development Awards support independent transformative pilot studies in gene and cell therapy by ASGCT members, particularly those ideas that would be challenging to fund with normal funding mechanisms. In 2021, we are awarding one $100,000 grant toward research in each of six broad topics, totaling $600,000 in funding.

The Underrepresented Minority Fellowship in Gene and Cell Therapy for Oncology will award $100,000 to a postdoctoral or early-career oncology researcher from a racial or ethnic minority group underrepresented in the scientific workforce.

The Underrepresented Population Fellowship Award in Gene and Cell Therapy for Any Indication will award $100,000 to a postdoctoral or early-career scientist from a group underrepresented in the scientific workforce who is engaged in any area of gene or cell therapy research.

The Award for Research on Conditions Disproportionately Affecting Minorities will provide $50,000 of funding for research focused on gene or cell therapy for conditions that disproportionately affect minority populations.

ASGCT’s Mentorship Award Program provides support for a mentored summer research project to graduate students or postdoctoral fellows from underrepresented populations.
