Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in CGT

ASGCT focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts that benefit the future and current members of the Society and the communities they serve. Underrepresented groups and individuals within the bio-medical field are essential for scientific and technological innovations. Our goal is to increase awareness and opportunities for education.

In 2022 and 2023, ASGCT led an innovative program to provide Milwaukee teachers with curriculum training and lab equipment so they can bring biotechnology experiments into their classrooms, thanks to a generous grant from Bristol Myers Squibb.
