Neural and Cardiac Cellular Reprogramming

November 16, 2022 | 1 - 3 p.m. CT

Although many tissues can replace lost or injured cells, neurons and cardiomyocytes lack regenerative capacity. Cellular reprogramming offers a novel cell therapy approach for the heart and central nervous system. This session will discuss approaches and tools for achieving cell lineage specification through reprogramming, noting both progress and pitfalls. This session will also address challenges that remain to improve efficiency and lead to potential therapeutic use.

This session is free for ASGCT Members and $50 for non-members.
