Exemplary Service Award


About the Award

The Exemplary Service Award is an honorific award that recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to ASGCT and their commitment to Society’s mission to advance knowledge, education, and awareness of gene and cell therapy. Exemplary service may include significant and sustained leadership, expertise, and/or creativity in addressing issues of importance to ASGCT. Nominees for this award should demonstrate a record of accomplishment, leadership, dedication, and commitment toward the mission of ASGCT.  

Selection Criteria

Nominee must be a member in good standing and nominated by two or more members in good standing of ASGCT. Nomination letters must be 500 words or fewer.The Nominating and Awards Committee will review nominations and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors who retains responsibility for selecting the recipient.

Presentation

The award may be presented annually during the ASGCT Annual Meeting.  Recipients will receive a plaque or trophy, complementary registration, and an honorarium of $2,000.
