Fall, also known as interviewing season, is coming soon! This means you're probably thinking about applying for post-docs and academic and industry positions, or seeking a promotion in your current role.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the anatomy of an interview and maximize your chances to move forward in your career.

Interviews are not just straightforward conversations between people; they're actually important occasions for transmission of carefully crafted, key pieces of information. For the applicant, the interview is the one opportunity for in-person communication of skills, experiences, and behaviors that best suit them for the desired position. For the interviewer, it's the one opportunity to determine if the applicant would be a good fit with their research, scientific or industry organization.

This café will teach attendees the basics about how to prepare for an interview, navigate the interview conversation, and maximize their opportunity to achieve their desired industry position.
