ASGCT and Pfizer grant supports independent medical education for rare disease cell and gene therapies.
ASGCT and Pfizer Global Medical Grants collaborated to offer a competitive grant opportunity focused on supporting medical education to increase the medical and scientific understanding of gene and gene-modified cell therapies.
Through Jan. 30, 2023, organizations submitted RFPs for independent initiatives that could result in measurable improvement in the understanding of therapies spanning multiple rare disease areas. They tailored their projects to members of multidisciplinary care teams for gene and gene-modified cell therapies, including pharmacists, specialty nurses, genetic counselors, medical geneticists, and other physicians.
