What To Know Before the 2024 Policy Summit

Here's what you should know before attending the 2024 Policy Summit at The Westin Washington, DC Downtown Hotel + virtually.

We hope you're looking forward to the 2024 ASGCT Policy Summit! Below you'll find important information to help you prepare.

In-person attendees will join us at The Westin Washington, DC Downtown hotel (999 9th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001). The event will start with breakfast at 8 a.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 23, and the program will start promptly at 9 a.m. ET in the Anacostia Ballroom Salons D + E.

Please note: All attendees will have live access to our virtual platform throughout the meeting and for 30 days following its conclusion. To access the platform, please see the instructions below.

On-site Registration

Pick up your badge at on-site registration, which will open at 7:45 a.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 23, in the Anacostia Ballroom Foyer.

Full registration hours are 7:45 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 7:45 – 11 a.m. on Sept. 24.

You should have received an email with a QR code that you will present when you pick up your badge for the event.

Session Location

All sessions take place in the Anacostia Ballroom Salons D + E on the Ballroom Level of the hotel.

Meals + Networking Opportunities

Join us for meals with your peers in the Anacostia Ballroom Salon F (included with in-person registration).

Day 1 (Sept. 23)

Breakfast: 8 – 9 a.m.

Coffee Breaks:

  • 10:45 – 11:10 a.m.
  • 2:45 – 3:15 p.m.

Lunch: 12 – 1 p.m.

Day 2 (Sept. 24)

Breakfast: 8 – 9 a.m.

Coffee Break: 10:40 – 11:05 a.m.

Connect Virtually

You'll be able to see the full attendee list before the event begins. Attendees can send connection requests to each other in the virtual platform. If the request is accepted, you can exchange messages right in the app. View the virtual networking guide here.

Networking Reception

Before you head to dinner, mingle in the Anacostia Ballroom Salon F on Monday, Sept. 23, 5 – 6:30 p.m. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.

Parking

The Westin Washington, DC Downtown hotel has on-site parking available for $11 per hour or $48 per day, as well as a valet option for $65 daily.
