ASGCT is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Coordinator, Hybrid Education to join our team. In this role, you will be integral to the success of ASGCT’s in-person and virtual (hybrid) educational programs, including the Annual Meeting and other smaller conferences. You will be responsible for supporting key operational areas for our hybrid events, including abstracts and speaker management, while providing critical administrative support to the Senior Manager, Hybrid Education.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide logistical and operational support for ASGCT’s hybrid events, including the Annual Meeting
- Support the abstract submission, review, reporting, and publication process
- Coordinate speaker, presenter, and co-chair invitations, registrations, and session assignments
- Coordinate program updates, awards, evaluations, and reimbursements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ASGCT’s education and abstracts inboxes, providing timely responses and excellent customer service
- Assist with committee meetings by scheduling, taking minutes, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items as requested
- Track and manage timelines in ASGCT’s project management software to ensure deadlines are met
- Develop and maintain a working understanding of relevant accreditation standards and ensure compliance with these standards for any assigned accredited programs
- Develop, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures for assigned responsibilities
- Assist with other Education team projects, as directed by the Sr. Manager of Hybrid Education
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One or more years of related professional experience preferred (non-profit, association, or academic experience a plus)
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently but also work across teams to collaborate both internally and with multiple volunteer leaders and committees
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, supporting long- and short-term priorities of the Society
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to the role, with adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and multitasking skills, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 2 weeks per year
Salary
The annual salary for this role begins at $45,000.
